Our Strut Your Mutt Contest was a HUGE success. All said and done, with entries, donations, and Southbound Show's horse show ribbon recycling program, we raised over $1,800 for Danny and Ron's Rescue!

Among the winners, Doggie Doo was named "Best in Show," Tia was "Cutest Dog," Tally won "Best Trick," and Piper won "Longest Ears." Check out the photos on The Nosey Dog facebook page!

CALLING ALL DOGS!

When:     Friday, May 21st, 2010 at 4 p.m.
Where:   Show Jumping Classic Horse Show
              at the Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler, Texas.

Enter The Nosey Dog’s “Strut Your Mutt” Contest benefitting Danny and Ron’s Rescue. Dress up or “come as you are,” show off a trick or just hang out. All dogs – big and small – are welcome!

Dogs will be judged under the following categories:

• “Best Looking Dog”
• “Best Dressed Dog”
• “Most Homely Dog”
• “Cutest Dog”
• “Best Trick”
• “Owner-Dog Lookalike” and
• “Special Dog”

Judging the contest will be Jana Rodes, Stacie Goodson, Peter Pletcher, Bill McMorris and Will Roberts.

The Nosey Dog will donate 5% of the profits from all purchases made from May 18th to May 23rd, whether made at the mobile store or online (enter Danny and Ron's Rescue in the Comments box at Checkout)!

Entry fee is only $1 per dog!
Enter all your dogs!

Bribing the judges is encouraged (and highly recommended) as all bribes (uhm, we mean “donations”) will go directly to Danny and Ron’s Rescue. So bring all your friends and “donate” to the judges to ensure their vote for your dog!

You can also recycle your show ribbons for 25 cents each, the proceeds of which will also go to Danny and Ron’s Rescue!

Winners will receive a toy from The Nosey Dog and mouth-watering, tail-wagging treats hand-crafted by Ellen Ahmann. After the contest, join us for Yappy Hour. Come celebrate with us – with or without a pooch! Homemade dog biscuits and water for the dogs, and refreshments for their human friends.
